What do you love?

What will make your life feel rich and rewarding?

We practice Financial Life Planning, which means our team begins with getting exquisitely clear about what you value most.

Because until we deeply understand how you want your life to go, we can’t—and won’t—make a single financial recommendation.

Of course the numbers matter, but they don’t exist in a vacuum. They’re there to serve you. To help create the life that thrills you and your family.

We want to meet YOU, not your bank account.

First up: We are a fee-only, fiduciary Registered Investment Advisor. That means we are legally required to put your interests before any others. Our ONLY compensation is from our clients (that means we’re not swayed by commissions or hidden kick-backs from products).

Our relationships start with a “fit” meeting. You get to tell us about you, your history and what you want for your future—your story.

Once we’ve agreed to move forward, we’ll go over your financial information to get a picture of where you are right now. Then we’ll draft a financial life plan—a blueprint for your money life—based on the goals that matter most to you.

When you give the green light, we’ll help you activate your plan so you can start reaping the emotional and financial rewards of our work together.

And we’ll monitor your progress—we’ll typically meet twice a year—to ensure your financial life continues to reflect the life you crave.

You’ve got dreams.
Big dreams.

You may have a demanding job or business. Or, you might be less focused on work and more on the rest of your life. You may even find yourself in a challenging money situation that feels embarrassing (we don’t believe in shame).

Unlike many advisors, we don’t just serve the wealthy. We work with those who are looking to grow their careers, their relationships and, ultimately, the quality of their life.

To be a great fit, you’ll want us to be candid with you—to be able to tell you when there is a gap between your words and your actions. (Like when continuing your current spending means you’ll have to delay your planned retirement by two years.)

Yes, that kind of candid.

Because we believe it’s our job to treat both you AND your dreams with the candor and care you deserve.

The fees you pay are our ONLY compensation.

Since we are a fee-only, fiduciary Registered Investment Advisor, our ONLY compensation is from our clients (no commissions or hidden fees. EVER).

You’ll pay us in one of three ways, depending on the services you’d like us to perform.

And, we donate a percentage of your first year fees to your choice of three charitable organizations: Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Cycle For Survival, Donors Choose or Veterans In Cinema.

Financial Planning + Wealth Management

We are usually paid by retainer for financial planning and wealth management services—and charge you a single combined fee for both:

1% of your Adjusted Gross Income
A percentage of your Net Worth:
.50% of your net worth up to $2.5 million
.25% of your net worth between $2.5 million and $10 million
.10% of your net worth over $10 million

Occasionally, this formula results in too high or too low a fee for the amount of work needed and we’ll mutually agree to adjust the formula.

Financial Planning Only

For financial planning services only, we are paid by retainer—typically ranging from $3,000 to $20,000 per year depending on the complexity of your situation.

Asset Management Only

If we manage your investments only, our fees are based on the value of the portfolio:

Portfolio Value Annual Fee %
Up to $500,000 1.20%
$500,001 – $1,000,000 1.00%
$1,000,001 – $2,000,000 0.85%
$2,000,001 – $3,000,000 0.70%
$3,000,001 – $4,000,000 0.55%
$4,000,001 – $5,000,000 0.35%
Above $5,000,000 0.25%
